Trenton Computer Services (TCS)
Payments:
All payments must be made in advance for new orders unless otherwise agreed.
All Business or other accounts must be paid within the time period agreed, (usually 15 days) to avoid an
18% monthly reoccurring late charge assessment.
Terms and Conditions of the Warranty and Returns Policy are subject to change without notice.
Trenton Computer Services (TCS) chooses to sell only products that it backs 100%. We rigorously test every product type we stock for compatibility and durability before we offer it to our customers. By selecting only quality merchandise, we are able to offer extensive warranties on all of our products. Because we strive for superior customer service, we choose to offer warranties that are unparalleled in the industry.
No cash refunds above $100.00 will be issued. Merchandise refunds may be available at discretion of the owner. A refund check will be issued typically.
Advanced Warranty Exchange Policy
Customer installed parts are not warranted unless deemed defective by our techs only. Parts must be left with us and will be checked and tested within a reasonable time period during normal working days. Any defective parts will be replaced by the same or similar if deemed not good within 15 days from the sale date.
Warranty Policy:
All new hardware components are tested to be free of defects and meet manufacturer's specifications. Unless otherwise specified, all new products carry one (1) year warranty from the purchase date through TCS.
TCS Warrants Used/Refurbished hardware components to be free of defects for a period of thirty (30) days from purchase.
“Nearly New" Product Class:
On occasion, TCS will be presented with the opportunity to offer to our customers products which have become available as the result of "technology refresh" options being exercised by large, typically Fortune 500 type, corporations. TCS Warranty policy on "Nearly New" will be for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. In the event the item originally purchased is no longer available, TCS will provide a comparable product. Product replacements are at the discretion of PC TCS.
Software is subject to publisher warranty only.
Some Non-stock "Special Order" items and laser printers may warranted only through the manufacturer. TCS will not accept these items as returns.
Product replacements are at the discretion of TCS which may include refurbished parts.
Warranty Policies do not include shipping charges.
Shipping Charges are non-refundable when returning a product.
Return Policy:
Damaged products may not be returned. All products returned are subject to testing.
Working or Not-Defective Items:
3 Day Return of unpackaged not installed products may be allowed with approval through management without restocking fees.
Products returned over 3 days may have a restocking fee of 15% added.
Special orders will not be available for return unless cleared by management and only if unpackaged or not installed.
System Builds:
A fifteen percent (15%) restocking fee will be charged to the customers for any system built by TCS, returned and not paid in full within 15 days of completion.
New built systems come with a one (1) year warranty. Before the warranty expiration, customers needing hardware-related repairs on the system must return the system to a TCS location for repair.
Used/Refurbished Parts/Systems:
Used or refurbished components that are returned as "defective" within three(3) days may be replaced with similar used part at TCS discretion.
After this period, used or refurbished parts are not returnable to TCS unless other wise stated at time of sale.
Limitation of liability:
TCS shall have no liability with respect to its obligations under this agreement or otherwise for consequential, exemplary, incidental or punitive damages even if it has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall TCS's liability arising from or in connection with this agreement or otherwise exceed the lesser of customer's actual and direct damages or the amounts paid under this agreement. No legal fees or any other compensation fees of any kind will be paid under this agreement as written.
LABOR
Labor to replace and install defective and non-working parts still under warranty is covered for 30 days from purchase date.
Any labor incurred outside of the replacement or installation of the original warranted part is not covered.
No labor will be warranted on any software, software installation, software repair, data service, or any other software issues.
