A
Life-Time of Experience
From his first computer class
in 1978 John started developing his knowledge in the electronics fields. Self
taught from the beginning, with a little help from GM's Plato electronics
learning system, a few adult education classes from Miami and the surrounding
Vocational schools, John started to put together his portfolio of experience.
Beginning with a TV, VCR, and Satellite shop in the mid 80's through the
90's, the developing company was geared towards the everyday consumer electronic
products. Each repair or sale of a product included an interaction experience
for the customer. This allowed the business to grow technologically and
developed a unique trust relationship between each customer and the business.
Every customer knew they could interact with the technician who was repairing
their unit and could contribute as needed with that particular situation of
repair or sales experience.
In the Late 90's
when VCR's, and TV's became less feasible to repair, John prepared for the next
phase of product repairs and customer support .
Consumers who needed computer repairs and networking soon found the same
interaction experiences available to them just as in the old TV and VCR repair
days. From an old electronics workshop in a garage in Camden, Oh., another leg
in the journey was born.In 2002 a new shop
(app.700 sq. ft.) was needed for work bench space and to cover the ever
expanding parts and inventor07/16/2009 (over 1800 sq ft.) customers can still deal directly with
someone trained and knowledgeable in the IT field that can and will help them
understand the current situation about their product.
A large showroom with displays and information welcomes all to the future of
computing.
Work space to accommodate up to 24 repairs at a time is available along with
plenty of storage for parts and inventory.
This new team has various IT degrees and certifications. Such as, degrees
in Computer Networking, Internet communications, and Computer science, along
with programming in visual basic, c++, php, java, asp, html, and ad07/16/2009ate competences in Various sections
of the IT field. With this broad
array of knowledge and the simple goodness of a small town business you are sure
to be in good hands with people you can trust to do the job right the first
time.John dedicates his
business to his father Simon Lay and his grandfather John Bown, who taught him
to understand the value of the golden rule and doing things right the first
time.
He also recognizes the input from a true teacher and dear friend who recently
passed, Frank Allen of Camden, OH. who John spent many hours learning
repair procedures from.
